Late Night Musings - 1

Have you ever had one of these weird moments? You are in a crowded, noisy room, and you are involved in various conversations with different people around you. You look over to someone who is trying to get your attention, and when you look at them they say something to you. But you couldn't hear it because you were

1) Not paying attention to the person, only looking at them.
2) The talking coming from the people around you drowned out most of the words the person said...

So all you hear is "....go.. yeah...". Time seems to slow down, and you think to yourself "What do I say to not appear rude. I could say "What?" and ask them to repeat themselves. So you do. They say it again, and yet again you are unable to hear what they said. So you just nod your head and say "Yeah!" and smile, hoping to God Almighty that the person just said a declarative statement and was looking for you to agree. But part of you knows that they had just asked you a question, and the fact that you just replied with a non-answer makes you look quiet foolish.

I love life. And the random moments that break the common mold of everyday life.
